About the Author
Ryan Gaboury is an author in his first year at the University of New England. He is from Cumberland, Rhode Island and lives with his two parents, Norm and Kim. Currently, his major is business and soon plans to focus that wide aspect to accounting and possibly a finance minor. Outside of the classroom, he plays football for the University of New England’s brand new program and hopes to someday become a solid influence and ambassador being a model citizen and role model for those that follow in his footsteps. It is important to him that losing is not an option, whether that be on the field, in the classroom, or in any situation really. It is necessary to win everyday, and to always progress through any challenge life presents. In his free time when he has it, it is difficult to find him not watching some type of sport and especially enjoys hanging out with friends. He is also an avid Xbox player and continues to get better at each Call of Duty game that comes out. Moreover, surfing and skiing are his favorite physical free time activities that he enjoys to do and basketball may be an option as well. In the offseason, lifting is a big part of his life and shows his hard work each day through school and sweating in the weight room. Lastly, he is a quiet kid who tends to keep to himself, but when he is open to his surroundings, loves to be sarcastic and joke with his fellow companions.
